Are the females in Singapore all ugly, or what?

*Note: Blogged halfway a long time ago*

I am in a bad mood so I shall adopt what all people do when they are in a bad mood - Impose their bad mood on others.

*deep gasp from the shocked audience*

So as I was saying ...

Yesterday I was whipping around Holland Village like a Tasmanian Devil while waiting for Eekean and the rest of the RV gang to come along.

Ghim Hui and XF were late, so Wong and I were looking thru the mag stands. Since I was in such a horrific mood, I looked at all the magazine covers and decided I hate all the Singapore models.

It's not the models' faults actually. They have just been over-exposed.

Seriously! What do you see when you look at the average magazine cover?!

Here's a sum up for you:

Rebecca Tan, rebecca tan, rebecca tan, denise Keller, jaymee ong, jaymee ong,
fann wong, zoe tay, fiona xie, rebecca tan, jaymee ong, denise keller, denise
keller, belinda lee, denise keller rebecca tan, Jaymee Ong, Fann, zoe, fann,
fiona, zoe, jaymee, becky, denise, becky

May I present to you!

REBECCA TAN! She is one face I am sick of seeing.

Not that she is ugly or anything near that, but how many products does she endorse? Like 3 million?

1) Lee Hwa Jewellery (or whatever that ad is where she lifts up her arms in an convertible car)
2) Some feet massage thingy currently showing on TV
3) A boob cream
4) Perlini silver?
5) Random product A
6) Random product B
7) Random product C
8) Some milk thingy?

Apparently this month she is on the cover of "SHAPE" or some health mag with a rainbow bikini. I know she has really kickass boobs, but is there really a need to use her so many times we all can draw her face with our eyes closed and hands miamed?

What is wrong with Singapore's media? Do we really have a lack of models for using as cover girls?

Speaking of over-exposed models, may I present to you ....

Wow! Cover of Health mag.

Bam, another. Gimme more Jaymee!

"Sure thing", says Cleo.

Not enough? Here's another, courtesy of Cleo!

ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ALL THE SAME PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN?!

Don't be silly dear, it's not your fault at all.

NO! That Is Enough!

The last two are current issues. -_- Nod with me now: Is she over exposed, or over exposed?

Mind you, I do think Jaymee is gorgeous.

But I would like to see some new blood for once.

Come to think of it, maybe it is not that difficult to have that kinda look that magazine girls have. It's all just photoshop, isn't it?

There you go. Mind you, my "before" photo here was already being photoshopped, so the difference is not too much. But take a closer look!

The nose - suddenly there's a nose bridge!
The lashes! - who grew them?!
Depth of eyes! - why is there eyeshadow?
Skin! - Blur, blur, blur, blur, blur, airbrush, heal, blur, blur, sharpen, sharpen, blur, blur

Of course, some of us will claim that the "before" photo looks more natural and thus nicer - BUT THAT'S BULLSHIT. No mag covers will put that photo of mine as the front page.

Anyway, I'm so talented, I do not understand why Maxim is not scouting me to be their photo editor. *tsk tsk* HEY YOU THERE! You! You mumbling that I am not that good what, why I so hao lian? YOU ARE WRONG! I am THAT good. If the creator of photoshop is the best, then I am the mountain that is always higher than the other mountain (I see the non-chinese/kantangs go like, "huh?!").

Well as usual this post is going to piss of the relevant industry's people, who will claim that I am shooting my mouth without knowing anything. You know how most (I said MOST) gay make-up artists operate: "Aiyoh! That xiaxue bitch! Always talk nonsense! SO BITCHY! And her breasts ah, small small only, still talk so much!" - to be said in a trans/malay accent and completed with broken wrist.

and etc.

Truth is, there is only one reason why they keep using the old crowd: There is indeed not enough models.

Well then kudos to Cleo, which holds auditions for new Cleo cover girls, and to FHM, which recently featured Margaret Lee, who is, erm, definitely not very normal cover girl material.

BUT WHY??? Why are there not enough models in Singapore? Is everyone too smart and educated to take a job which under-utilises their brains nowadays?

Come to think of it, if I spent 10 years of my life studying, why would I wanna be a model? Ah, to get shagged by rich guys driving Zondas of course, then siphon their money dry and then go fuck another rich guy who lives in Queen Astrid Park or 6th Ave.

Model 1: My bf drive Lamborghini leh!
Model 2: My fuck buddy drive Bentley ok!
Model 3: My nene is so big that my godfather drive the Singapore Duck Tour Boat around town just because he can afford it. *smirks*

Model 1, 2: ... But the boat can drive one meh?

Model 3: I don't know leh, I think we sort of bounce about. Oh, it messes up my hair. =*(

HEY YOU THERE! You who are muttering that some models are smart too! YOU ARE ..... CORRECT! That day, I was talking to one of them, and I asked her, like, hello there, how many alphabets are there do you remember? and she said, like, was it 24 or 26? guffaw guffaw

Well, do YOU know how many alphabets there are? And do you also know that 512 is the cube of 8? Or that the human body has 206 bones? And that the enamel coating your teeth is actually harder than your skull?

OH DEAR! If yes, then you are too smart to be a model lah dear. Trust me, u will contribute more (meaningfully) to our country's GDP by being a marketer or engineer. ;)

But what I don't get is this: Why do these rich guys let the girls siphon their cash and sometimes even marry them?

Going by pure logic and no sexual elements, these rich guys should be relatively smart right, that's why they made it rich/maintained wealth.

Therefore, smart people should seek smart partners for three good reasons:

1) To ensure smart genes for kids to continue success in the business they spent a lifetime building up.
2) To be able to have a fulfiling conversation with partner without feeling like crashing her skull.
3) To use her intelligence to help make critical decisions in the business and provide business solutions.

To the contrary however, we see plenty of these rich (also supposedly smart) people dating/marrying dumb actresses and models.

Plenty of logic behind that too I guess:

1) Is a good fuck
2) Is too dumb to notice if you cheat on her (or doesn't care since she cheats too)
3) Children will look good - (but are so stupid they will all get herpes at the age of 11)
4) Can show off like trophy and make the guy with the smart but ugly wife pissed off (but his smart son will trash your business).
5) Has so much money he doesn't mind paying for something as long as it is aesthetically pleasing.
6) Feeds ego as he feels he is damn smart whenever conversing with her.

Oh well, the dumb model wins the average-looking lady in the power suit with the quiet IQ of 150. What a pity.

Back to the topic of brains-not-necessary occupations, today Wong the Lawyer and I went to Ikea to have dinner.

Very unfortunately, there was but one two seater table at the side of this lady.

I took a glance at her, absorbed in the electric blue eyeshadow, tight black bun and blood red nails, and I knew it was no good news.

But what choice do we have? It was the only seat around.

I grudgingly took the seat beside her.

Later on, her friends came to join her - some skinny Indian lady and some Chinese girl.

The moment their asses touched the seats, they started gushing at her.

"OMG your make up! You look so different!"

The original girl merely smiled a "I am so lucky and you can only be envious" smile at them.

The Indian girl started to gush about how her current make up makes her eyes look bigger or something.

I, as a professional *ahem*, ok, freelance make up artist, took one more glance at her and almost laughed out loud. Since when was electric blue eyeshadow a "nice make-up"?? In fact, I think Qin Shi Wang should have burned all baby/electric blue eyeshadow when he tried to burn all the books in ancient China.

She looks like someone from the 80's popped up from the grave and tried to force make-up on her.

Anyway, it was apparent what the BIG HOOHA was about. She was newly made an air stewardess.

I don't see the big fuss about air waitresses, seriously. Most of them are fugly with super red lipstick. I say MOST. Why must guys go like "Whoop! My girlfriend is an air stewardess!" when it is almost nothing to be proud about? Why don't they go "Whoop! My girlfriend is the CEO of Raffles Holdings!" (That's Jennie Chua btw, and I totally adore her because she is so capable, she worked her way up in hospitality starting out as a banquet waitress. She is also hilarious).

Why is it ok for girlfriends to be superior to them in looks but not in intelligence/capability??! What kinda crap logic is that?

Anyway, back to the story:

Moving swiftly on from make-up (a whole fifteen mins), they started discussing the tight bun she had on her nape.

Being an ex-banquet waitress, I assure you that that bun is not difficult to tie at all and nothing to drool over. It is BUT A FUCKING HAIR BUN!

She started explaining to them, while they listened with bambi eyes, that she twirled and twisted and used a lot of what she called "U-pins" to secure the bunch of dead cells.

And added she used two hairnets so it's more "secure".

What a bunch of airheads! And why did she have to keep the bun on when she is outta the airport? TRYING TO HAO LIAO!

Surely you have heard the saying:

Big minds discuss ideas
Mediocre minds discuss events
Small minds discuss people

What about minds who discuss superficial aesthetics? They should add another: Imbecile minds discuss U-pins in great detail.

I would have forgiven Miss New Air Waitress if she talked about the weather next - in her little phoney English accent may I add.

BUT NO! She started to talk about her MANICURE! Which looked like shit on her stumpy nails. Blah blah it's a airline thing to have it red it is sponsored all the girls do the same blah blah blah.

Then her friends talked about another subject, and I stole a glance at her, and you know what? She wasn't listening but admiring her nails. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HER??!

They moved swiftly on to how little they eat a day and Indian girl proclaimed that she is really very full and didn't wanna touch dinner.

I took a hopeless look at the thunderstruck Eekean, and gulped down the last of my meatballs, and fled from the place.

Never may I meet another person like that again. Amen.

Oops! Let's wrap up this blog entry.

But what hell was Elle thinking when they got Rachel Lee to be cover?

Oh my god the tragedy. Whatever class and prestige the mag had was gone in one day. Not that Rachel is, erm, not a nice girl of course. Bleah, I better shut up here if I ever wanna write for Today again. *grins*

Being a hermit who never stepped out of my HDB for the last 10 years, I went ??? at the mention of Rebecca Tan, and ???? at the mention of Jaymee Ong :P....

Anyway, to the question why rich guys go for dumb (ahem) models, I can think of 3 reasons:

1) sex,
2) sex,
3) more sex :)
Mike said…
Well, rich people go for models for these reasons:

1. Because the models go for them
2. It's easy
3. They can brag that they're shagging a model
4. The models are too dumb to care about their 2" dicks
5. They don't feel insecure about their 2" dicks because the models are too loose or too drunk to care

As for the magazine covers, I noticed that too. I moved here from another asian country about a month ago, and I keep on seeing the same damn faces in every ad, on every magazine cover. Makes me wonder if I'll be able to meet any pretty girls in SG, or if those models are all that's left (aside from Wendy, of course).
BabeRoo said…
Now that you mentioned it, yah, it's pretty much those few faces. Actually there are pretty girls in spore, it's just that those that are pretty and smart dun choose modelling as their career. It is those that are pretty and dumb and they only know how to hand out leaflets (Comex and Car Shows) that become models. I guess passing out leaflets is the most tedious thing that their brain can process.

OOO... Jaymee Ong... *drools*

Anyway, yah I think a whole lot of Singaporean models are quite over-exposed. (I've lost count of the number of times Fann Wong/ Zoe Tay have appeared on 8 Days, i-weekly, Her World and all the other local mags).

Rebecca Tan and Jaymee Ong are of Eurasian parentage...

P.S. If I recall correctly, Jaymee Ong isn't even Singaporean. She's Australian, and while in Singapore, she was talent-scouted to appear in one of Aaron Kwok's MTVs, as well as a couple of Hong Kong movies. After that, she went off to Hollywood, but didn't make it big there. (the only thing notable was her 2-second scene as a nurse in Pearl Harbour. Blink & you'll miss it.)

Jaymee was in Pearl Harbour? I must have missed it then.

Rachel Lee..gosh..not that I'm pretty to comment on others, but I think she looks like a *clears throat* transversite..face that is. Not pretty and I really doubt her so-called perfect figure. She looks pretty fat though. I get very turned off whenever I see her on TV or any mag cover. She's got the 'F*** Me' look. Is that a compliment? Hmm..

I'm not in the modelling line, but I heard that the agencies will send photos of their self-selected candidates to the clients for them to choose. So for new faces, there's nothing they can do if their agencies refuse to send theirs, hence, depriving them of the chance to appear on the magz. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I kinda like Rebecca Tan's features and looks, and you're right, she is over exposed. Rachel Lee started off quite captivating to me, but her looks are what we call "bu nai kan". After looking at her for a period of time, I didn't think she was THAT pretty afterall.
Ivan said…
I agree with you guardian. If Rachel Lee had faded away after the FHM bikini contest, maybe lots of us would still have the hots for her. But after An Eye For A Guy, and what with her becoming so much more well-known, somehow her look seems to lose its appeal.

I won't deny she's attractive, but somehow unlike say, Rebecca Tan or Jaymee Ong, she somehow isn't able to maintain that striking look. Not that it's her fault, but that's the way things are. *shrugs*

Ivan said…
Anyway, anyone noticed how it seems like The New Paper New Face always seems to fade away into obscurity* after winning? And strangely enough, for the past few years, almost all the winners are Eurasian...

*Except the winner of the first New Face, Lee-Ann D'Alexandry. Now THAT was another hot babe, and who appeared in many magazines both locally and in Hong Kong (she appeared in a couple of Hong Kong movies as well) =P. French-Chinese mix, a pity she's flown back to France. Bah.

P.S. Please excuse me if this comments thread is turnning into BabeWatch...

i agree with u they use the same faces too many times over again. however, on a side note.

Singapore EXALTS and THINKS THE WORLD of eurasian models. they are everywhere its so pathetic. what happened to all the other good-looking malays, indians and chinese?

Its a cycle. The ideal caucasian beauty is reinforced as the global definition of beauty.

ase wang vivien tan evelyn tan jaymee ong rebecca tan sonia couling.the list goes on. sure they're gorgeous but they are definately OVERATED.

those magazines and the sg media in general need a kick in the arse and begin to start using local models before the whole of sg turns into an ang-moh hungry eurasian wannabe poseur city with deluded narrow ideas of what constitutes real beauty.

Ivan said…
pseudofairey, I agree with you that somehow, the local media seems to overemphasise on models of mixed parentage. And also, that some of our local models, though really attractive, are really a tad overexposed.

However, you mentioned Evelyn Tan. Hmm... if it's the same Evelyn Tan that I think you're talking about (Channel U newscaster, recently married to Darren Lim), well, isn't she 100% Chinese? (though correct me if I'm wrong...)

I guess the main reason why Eurasian models are featured more often is that they present a more exotic look. I mean, these are people who certainly are very distinctive. Look at your average Singaporean crowd; how many Eurasians can you point out? (and pretty ones at that). Besides, I may be wrong, but I think that somehow models of mixed parentage are able to pull off a more glamorous appearance. Chinese models tend to end up as if they're poor imitations of Taiwanese, Korean or Japanese models or look like ah lians.

Indian models, on the other hand, will draw comparison with Bollywood stars, although I have seen some really stunning Indians before. And as for Malays, well, some of them really look like they belong on the cover of our local magazines, but somehow I don't see them featured that much. I don't know why. Suzanna Abu and Huda Ali are a couple of names that come to mind, though I seriously haven't bothered to follow the local scene that much.

Anyway, I say, don't make too much out of it. After all, cover girls don't portray a true image of Singaporean beauty. And after all, beauty is a very subjective concept.

What is this how did I end up writing an essay down here... Oh well, where it comes to women I just can't keep my mouth shut. =P

hey your block rocks. i love XIAXUE!

re eurasian models: I think it's also partly to do with the culture where eurasian parents have a very different culture to our typical singaporeans and don't push their children to study. (must finish school before you start any of this bullshit)

But there's been articles in Time mag on the globalisation of beauty. it's quite a compelling case for eurasian models.

Malay models: because as models, they are limited by their religion to being fully clothed. I understand (and know) that many Malays do not adhere strictly since most Malays in SG are moderate Muslims, however, it draws fire from our local islamic bodies. There was a huge case in the 80s when a malay model appeared in a swimsuit.

Indian and Chinese models: again the pressure to do well in Singapore. Or (I call this the Miss Universe syndrome) many can't be bothered, or as is in our culture, that no one wants to draw attention to themselves.

Xiaxue herself has been a victim of this. Say you entered yourself into a modelling agency, comments of 'wahlau, she think she so pretty meh?'

or 'why so haolian wan?' will definitely ensue.

You say no and they'll go 'what you think you so great?'

If you say something, act on something or even insinuate something, you will draw criticism for being haolian. which pisses me off, especially since sometimes (like xiaxue) I get flak...but then it's from my own friends for whom I started the blog for, while my readers are cool with it.

Tall Poppy Syndrome.

Less pressure to do well academically = success in other aspects of culture as a nation.

*shrugs* although...I don't know if it'll work of course.
silvermyst said…

depending on how it goes. Sometimes, the advertising agency will go to the modelling agency and say "I want male, 6"2 swimmers build, preferably Chinese" and the agency will pull up everyone who matches this description. then the ad agency shortlists this.

sometimes, they (modelling agencies) just give (esp the promo jobs/shows) to whoever can make it at that time.

Fashion houses as well, will ask for a certain look...and then choose from a shortlist of their specifications.

When an agency sends models in for beauty contests, only then do they preselect the models themselves.

Hey hai ren

yeah beauty is in the eye of the beholder
but it is the media influences and shapes our perceptions of the beauty ideal in massive amounts.
all i wanna point out is that
the popular definition of beauty (caucasian)that most have is formed by what the media highlights to us
i dont have anything against eurasians n they r are no doubt exotic pretty n blahh,
however what makes them stand out as u say is obviously their
ang moh features.bollywood type indians-ang moh features.u urself said some mly models not even covergirl material (why? less angmoh features, WE ASIAN!duhh)

asians are immensely beautiful, its just that its not deeply celebrated and recognised in popular culture.
and sg magazines by promoting angmohs/eurasians so heavily as they do, are not doing anything to help the disturbing trend.

it is the growing obsession of the caucasion ideal of beauty that is invading our country that is the problem
ang moh models, asian models which would agencies tend to choose? (yes its what sells that matters, but if it goes on this way then asians will have d wrong idea, they r non beautiful, must look like angmoh to be even more beautiful)
the ideal:double eyelids, deepset eyes, longer lashes, higher cheekbones, sharper nose:angmoh or asian eh?
its a vicious cycle, and this is not even a western country for goddness sake n yet 80% of the models in local mags are angmoh or have at least some angmoh blood.

its not so much the covergirls that i care abt. its the warped perceptions that are created when pple begin to look toward angmoh beauty as the ideal n global definition that is definately worrying.
u can intepret it in whatever manner u like, but this is just my version

btw evelyn tan is that girl on lightyears.

Generalizations, generalizations! Not all models and actresses and air stewardesses are stupid...
I know many who are intelligent and could have gotten jobs in other companies but this is the occupational path they chose especially when they're still young and pretty and have their youth.
And it takes a certain amount of brains to act, acting is a skill! btw, certain asian girls do look good in blue eyeshadow if they have pale, florescent skin tones.

Er... I didn't say that some Malay models are not covergirl material... I said this:

"And as for Malays, well, some of them really look like they belong on the cover of our local magazines, but somehow I don't see them featured that much."

I meant that some of them, appearance-wise, ought to be on the cover.

And anyway, well, I suppose this so-called "Caucasian" definition of beauty may be true in the local mass media, but frankly, I'm not too worried about it myself. After all, I guess that except for a very small proportion, most Singaporeans still prefer to look for beauty within their own ethnic groups. I've got tonnes of friends who couldn't care about any of the really hot Caucasian models, but give them a poster of some Chinese, Japanese or Korean babe and they go weak in the knees.

Evelyn Tan? Never liked her. Give me Rosalind Pho anytime. =P

P.S The "ALPHABET" is the name of the collection of letters. Which means there is an alphabet of 26 letters. Just as there is a Greek alphabet, an Egyptian alphabet, a Cyrillic alphabet etc etc. The letters that make up the English alphabet themselves belong to the Latin Character set.

Hence, we say there is 1 ALPHABET, made up of 26 LETTERS.

most 'beautiful' people have almost-symmetrical faces

look at Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt
fold their faces in half and you'll find it's almost symmetrical...

if that's not enough...
i read somewhere before that there was this research conducted on babies.

these babies were given faces of people with symmetrical faces and people with non-symmetrical(is it the correct word? or is it assymmetrical?) faces.
apparently these babies actually showed more response to the people with symmetrical faces!

Rebecca and Jaymee seem to have quite a symmetrical faces.

i know!
Wendy should take photos of her face, edit it by cutting it in half and making both halves symmetrical...

maybe instead of just drop-dead beautiful...
you'll be super-ultra-better-than-rebecca-and-jaymee-drop-dead-beautiful!
derrick said…
I totally agree with Mike..

Girls who look good without makeup are the best.

Pls don't mind the cold hard truths that i'm stating:

1. Lets start with female beauty.

a) We function like our ancestors do. Some things are ingrained in us. They don't change within a century.

1b) Since prehistoric times, guys actively have to seek women for procreation purposes for the sake of the welfare and growth of our human community.

1c) In order to have better chances of having offspring, every guy wants to have gals (notice the plural) that are capable of bearing them generally more healthy offspring.

1d) There is no need for her high IQ, wealth, or status. These are not involved in procreation.

1e) How is this capability determined? One word, "beauty".

1e) How is "beauty" defined? Some of the major factors:

(i) most importantly, "direct" health, ie Athletism.

(ii) like what theRagamuffin has already explained, the symmetry of the gal's face.

(iii) her features of the face, such as the mouth (sensual/pouty), eyes (large), nose (small), hair (long)

(iv) breasts

(v) her legs. the longer, the better. why? cos this way, the woman's procreation facilities will be in more prominent view.

(vi) her bum.

2. What can we conclude from here?

(a) Women's beauty is an indication, or advertisement, to guys.

(b) Make-up put on would, I would say, lead false advertisement. And plastic surgery too.

Sidenote: there was this korean/chinese guy who dumped the wife cos she didn't tell him she had full-body plastic surgery. he found out cos their baby looked ugly. (could be his fault oso la, if he's physically unattractive)

(c) Genes are very important.

(d) What if u know that you aren't very attractive and want to improve your looks radically? Easy. Lead a very healthy lifestyle!~ After all, health as direct relation with beauty. the more healthy a person is, the more beautiful he is.
(i) eat well (have a relatively balanced diet)
(ii) sleep well
(iii exercise!

that is why athletes are deemed more attractive than the average person! they exercise a lot! find a sport that will interest you, work you out and build the good figure you want. (eg, yoga, jogging, tennis, netball, etc)

3. My personal thoughts.

For guys, beauty is a definite criteria when it comes to choosing a partner. Importance varies from guy to guy.

For guys who do not know the in and outs of a relationship, they may tend to go solely for looks.

For guys who know better, it is obvious that a gal's character that counts the most. After all, every guy also wants a happy and long-lasting relationship. And the essence of a long-lasting relationship is the personalities of the two persons, not looks.

I find that there is no need to find someone that matches me intellectually. But I agree with you, beautiful airheads shouldn't be so highly sought-after.

I don't see the fuss about the magazines always having the same people to front their covers.

(i'm feeling generous today!) and yes, I feel ur edited pictures are cover page material.

Love your blog.

(ps: I totally agree with Mike..)

Jaymee Ong chio watz.... wah lao, her NewMan cover so slutty

anywayz, pretty doesn't mean the girl no brains. But usually brainy, pretty girls won't go into modelling. Stripping in front of the camera is a too high price to pay for fame and attention.

Xiaxue, you are one stupid girl who has some serious issues on your shoulders!! LOL. I must say your blog made me laugh..... AT IT ... not with it! Do you not have anything better to do in your special life?? .... Wait, you don't need to answer that cause you obviously don't!! LOL. Poor thing!

You obviously have an inferiority complex because for somebody who doesn't like models you seem to have a lot of interest in them. Also I think the general agreement with most people that read your blog would be that somebody that makes opinions of people that they don't know is actually a person who is shallow, narrow-minded, insecure, as well as being totally and obviously threatend.

By the way.... what exactly makes you label models as stupid?

Does it make you smart if you can use photoshop, or are you smart cause you know how many bones there are in the human body or that enamel is harder than your skull? Should I bow down to Singapore's most intellegent person? LOL.
If you are such an intelligent girl then why are you bothering with this?
Also what makes you think that it's just models that F**K men for money? If you open your eyes a bit more you will see that it's not the models that are F**king the men it's girls that are too damn stupid and lazy to build a good life for themselves. The models can make their own money..... and a hell of alot of it!
I ask you all.....
Would you do a modeling job if it offered you $20,000? So if you were to do it would that make you stupid? Modeling is just another job like any other. It gives you money to feed yourself and family and puts a roof over your head. You have your good apples and you have your bad ones. Why mock just the models?
If you're so sick of seeing the same faces in mags then why the hell buy them?? What a shame you choose to spend so much of your precious brain matter on such trivial matters when there is so much more going on in the world. I suggest that you should continue on with your school studies, grow up, and get a life! Jealousy is not a very attractive characteristic to have, and you certainly have heaps of it!!
Good luck dear, you do need it!
